Do I need to pay for the design service?
Yes, but if you order cabinets and other materials through us, the design service won’t be charged separately.

2

How long do I have to wait for my cabinet order?
J&K cabinets can be custom-made and ready for pick up between 5-10 days. Due to the high demand and back order log, Columbia cabinets can take up to 6 weeks.

3

What is MDF?
Medium density fiberboard, or MDF, is a composite wood product similar to particleboard. It’s made out of wood waste fibers glued together with resin, heat, and pressure. MDF is appropriate for many applications, from cabinetry to moulding, because it is smooth, uniform, and won’t warp.

What is the difference between silestone and caesarstone?
Both are engineered synthetic stones made of 93% of quartz, the best argument for choosing one over the other is probably the color and finish.

5

What is the difference between solid wood and engineered wood?
Solid wood is wood cut from a tree and then cut to size into flooring panel dimensions, while engineered wood flooring is composed of several layers of wood pressed and glued together to the desired thickness and then cut to the specified dimensions.
Solid wood
allows for future re-sanding to smooth the surface if it becomes marred with use, thus more suitable for a relatively high-traffic area.
Engineered Wood is generally better protected and pre-finished with special treatments, plus its edges bevelled for an attractive appearance. Engineered panels are longer and wider than solid wood ones. Often engineered timber has a tighter fit, too. What’s more, installation costs are usually less than solid wood installation.
